Empowering Communities, Saving Lives

We are running a year-long support programme offering guidance, care, and hope for individuals and their family/carers affected by leukaemia, sickle cell, and other blood disorders residing in merton & wandsworth.

Key Activities

Over the course of the year, the programme will offer:

  • Emotional and practical support sessions

  • Awareness and education events

  • Carer support activities

  • Peer connection and networking opportunities

  • Celebration & publicity events to share impact stories

Our emotional well-being sessions via Zoom, offering vital support to help combat loneliness and enhance mental and emotional well-being. Participants have the opportunity to share experiences, build resilience, and learn from one another and professionals. Topics covered include mental well-being, stress management, nutrition, pain management, overcoming loneliness, and coping with bereavement, among others.
