Anyone can be a hero
The Kevin Kararwa Leaukaemia Trust (KKLT) is an organisation founded after the tragic death of Kevin Kararwa who died from leukaemia after he failed to find a stem cell donor in 2014. Veronica, his mother, founded the organisation with hopes that one day what happened to Kevin will not happen to anyone else.
OUR VISION[trx_highlight type=”0″ color=”#00213a”]Everyone regardless of who they are from or where they live, can find a stem cell match.[/trx_highlight]
Our Mission[trx_highlight type=”0″ color=”#00213a”]
- Create awareness and encourage people from ethnic minority to register as a donor.
- As part of our awareness campaign, we address the stereotype, myth and negative rhetoric relating to bone marrow donation.
- To support patients and families affected with leukaemia by offering practical and emotional support.
