We are a charity on a mission to create awareness, educate, engage and offer support.

Since our establishment in 2015, the Kevin Kararwa Leukaemia Trust (KKLT) has been committed to engaging with BAME (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) communities to raise awareness about leukaemia. Our aim is to educate and inform these communities about stem cell donation (commonly known as bone marrow donation) and to encourage individuals to join the stem cell registry. By increasing the number of potential stem cell donors, we hope to improve survival rates within BAME communities.

We achieve this through a variety of initiatives, including delivering presentations, distributing information leaflets, utilizing social media, organizing events, speaking at BAME community gatherings, and partnering with places of worship to host registration drives.

Recently, we have expanded our services to include distributing food parcels and providing emotional and physical support to individuals with blood cancers and their families. These efforts help reduce isolation and loneliness, while enhancing emotional and mental well-being.
